about
While little is known about Chicago group MIIRRORS, their debut single – a reimagining of Jeff Buckley’s rare 4-track solo demo, “Gunshot Glitter”– features Buckley’s original drummer, Matt Johnson. Recorded at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio and mixed by Brian Deck, the track builds into a shimmering soundscape with walls of guitar and synth, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan-inspired strings, and soaring vocals that pay homage to yet another legendary talent gone far too soon.
